Twilight/Car Trouble

I've slowly but surely become addicted to the Twilight Saga. At first I was skeptical of the how "vampire" storyline and just the whole thing in general. But a good friend of mine was reading the 3rd book, she told me how good it was and it made me very curious. I began reading the first book last Sunday night and finished by Tuesday night, it was a record for me because usually it takes me much longer to read, but I couldn't help it. It wasn't the gorey vampire novel I thought it would be, it was actually a romance and not your mushy romance either. I decided that I just had to see the movie as soon as possible to compare the two. On Thursday night I went in monsoon like conditions to go see it, and I have to admit that the book was so much better than the movie. The detail in the book just made it so much better than the movie. Normally I'd say the movie is better than the book, but the detail in the book gave you all the information to build your own characters and scenery, the movie was just totally different from what I pictured it being. Right now, even though it is Finals time, I have started reading the second book New Moon, and I must admit that it isn't as good as the first but like my friend said "the last two will be better." I'm hoping for that.

Now onto to my little rant. I hate my car! Well not really hate because when I got it almost 3 years ago on December 23, I was in love with it, now not so much. Since the car isn't even 3 years old yet, it makes matters a lot worse. First the hatchback springs or whatever break, that I could deal with since a trunk isn't that important to me, and then 4 new tires that were about $300, but now I have to draw the line one what I can tolerate. The radio in my car has gone out along with a few other little things, this is ridiculous! Now I'm paranoid to drive it in fear that the car is going to just die on me while I'm driving it, that will just be the straw that breaks the camels back. So I'm hoping and somewhat praying that I can make it through the first two days of Finals without anymore incidents. Ugh, stupid car, I just want to kick it.
